Paul Jake and Melissa Ricks Break up Confirmed

Former PBB housemate Paul Jake Castillo and actress Melissa Ricks have already called it quits after a year of being together. Paul Jake has confirmed the reports about the break up on The Buzz, Sunday.

Prior to Paul Jake's admission, rumors about their break up surfaced because of the controversial Instagram posts of Melissa Ricks. The former, however revealed in the interview that they separated in a good way.

"Yes, we are perfectly fine. Yes, we are friends. There’s no bad breakup, no bad blood," Paul Jake said.

Melissa and Paul Jake became a couple in 2012. In her Kris TV interview early this year, Melissa turned emotional as she shared her happiness to finally found real love with Paul Jake.

"Siyempre when I go into a relationship, I want it to last talaga. Hindi naman ako yung type na I will entertain someone just for the sake of entertaining them 'ay gusto kong magpaligaw, ay gusto kong maraming nanliligaw sa akin.' (Gusto ko yung pagmatagalan), hindi pangsandalian lang. After all that I'd been through, sobrang hulog ng langit (si Paul)," said Melissa on the interview.

Meanwhile, Paul Jake would rather concentrate on his businesses rather than finding someone new after the break up. "Siguro wala muna," he said when asked if he is looking for a new love. "I’d rather concentrate on something else, business particularly."

Melissa Ricks, who is currently on vacation, is still mum on the break up. Many netizens shared their sentiments about the separation, telling Melissa, kidding aside that she should stay away from guys named 'Jake.'

Before Melissa and Paul Jake became sweethearts, the actress has had a failed relationship with actor Jake Cuenca.
