The Voice PH Battle Rounds Results (August 10): Janice Javier, Isa Fabregas, Darryl, Eva Won Battles

Another set of battles rolled in the top-rating singing-reality show The Voice of the Philippines on Saturday (August 10) with intense vocal duels from the pairs of the four teams.

The Voice of the Philippines - The Battles

First to went up the battle stage were Team Bamboo's Angelica Prado and Isa Fabregas, who battled on the song Don't Speak by No Doubt. Isabella's intensity on stage overpowered Angelica's soulful interpretation of the song. Bamboo praised Isa for being so unique, a throwback that no other singer has the same style these days—and she will advance to the live shows. [Battle video]

Team Apl's Janice Javier and Lance Fabros brought the house down with Journey's Don't Stop Believing. Even though Arnel (the lead singer of Journey) was their guest adviser, both Janice and Lance did not let pressure rule and delivered an extraordinary show. Though Lance was a natural-born performer, it was the vocal powerhouse in Janice that made their coach choose the latter to advance to the live shows. [Battle video]

Darryl Shy and MJ Podolig of Team Lea showcased an acoustic performance on Tuwing Umuulan at Kapiling Ka popularized by Regine Velasquez. Both Darryl and MJ brought with them their guitars. Coach Lea said that MJ Podolig kinda overdid the song in some points so she picked Darryl Shy. [Battle video]

Team Sarah's Michaellen Temporada and Eva delos Santos duet on Michael Jackson's I Just Can't Stop Loving You feat Siedah Garrett. Coach Sarah regretted her decision of pitting these two artists against each other since they were both soulful singers. However, Mommy Eva outshone Michaellen that night, so she was chosen by Sarah to advance to the next round. [Battle video]

Tomorrow, the Battle Rounds will proceed with another set of pairs from the four teams. Who will make it to the live shows next? Find out on The Voice of the Philippines, Saturdays after MMK and Sundays after Rated K.
